Order & Chaos

With each piece from the Order and Chaos Collection, the eye is instinctively drawn to the raised dots. This small but effective feature gives perspective to the paintings, a reassurance of the order we are demanded to understand in our everyday lives.

Yet, if we stop and look a little closer, we pay attention to what lies behind the disciplined and regimented Order and we will recognise the segments of our life existing as emotional carnage represented through Chaos. This is depicted through the abstraction layered beneath the uniformed pattern of dots, the disorderly energy that hides under a seemingly organised disguise.

The intention of these paintings is to challenge a multitude of subject matters ranging from politics in disarray, the hypocrisy of Church and Religion to false business marketing. The artwork also hones in on larger crises such as the portrayal of our Natural World and Human Interference while focusing on the mundane everyday relationship with our lives. In each painting you will discover a narrative that hopefully leaves you questioning your perspective on life.
